She has been in private practice with offices located in Dix Hills and now Hicksville.  She is a founding partner of Acupuncture Associates of Long Island, P.C. located at 535 South Broadway, Hicksville New York.  She and her partner developed Acupuncture Associates to bring preventative healthcare and better lifestyle choices to their patients while providing complementary therapies as an adjunct to their patient’s western medical care.

Jodie continuously enjoys her post-graduates studies, but her highlight has been additional training in Labor & Delivery with Claudia Citkovitz M.S., L.Ac; Dr. Shi Xuemin’s XNKQ Stroke & Dementia Rehab Protocol, as seen in the documentary “9000 Needles” and Traditional Japanese Needling Techniques with Atsuki Maeda, L.Ac..  She has further studied with Dr. Martha Lucas, Ph.D., L.Ac., in the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System for the Face, Neck and Abdomen.  She also is an Acupuncture Detox Specialist (ADS) trained from the National Acupuncture Detox Association (NADA) in the Lincoln Recovery Center in the Bronx, New York used for treatment of drug and alcohol addicted clientele.  In addition to her private practice, Jodie supervises other Acupuncture Detox Specialists (ADS) at the Nassau University Medical Center’s Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Program.  She examines Acupuncture students in the Tri-State area for Clean Needle Technique (CNT), for the national organization of Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM).

Jodie is experienced in treating many conditions with Acupuncture and is deeply committed to helping the process of human health and healing with the use of these ancient and powerful methods.
